The Third Annual Fashion Week on El Paseo, a fantastic success!
The week long celebration of fashion sponsored by Palm Springs Life and the El Paseo Merchants Association offered, food, entertainment, art and beauty all along the world class shopping avenue of El Paseo, in Palm Desert, California. Participating stores on El Paseo included Troy, Tiffany & Co., Ann Taylor, Coach, J. Crew, Banana Republic, Cache and Three Dog Bakery.
In-store events, trunk shows, fashion shows, expos, seminars, product demonstrations, informal modeling, parties, contests and giveaways set the tone for an event that drew fashionistas from all over Southern California.
Fashion Group International presented the traditional Black Tie Gala, and Women In Film produced the “Hollywood Fashions” runway show featuring original gowns worn by Hollywood icons including Ginger Rogers. This year’s headline designer, Eduardo Lucero delivered the pinnacle of high style and sophistication t the grand finale show. With rave reviews and much anticipation, Susan Stein, Fashion Week's executive director says next year’s event is already in the works. Stay tuned for more details!
